Finding the right home for every kid

We hope you’ll explore the site to learn more about us and our goats. If you’re interested in buying goats from us, please fill out our goat reservation application so we can learn about you and your goals for your goats.

We’ve been raising goats since 2002 and have seen some very unfortunate situations, so we want our goats to go to homes where they’ll get the best possible goat-appropriate care. No one has all the right answers when they’re starting out, but you do need to be open to learning.

If you haven’t given much thought to how you’ll care for goats, start with the Beginner’s Guide to Goats. It covers housing, fencing, feeding, mineral supplementation and more, with over 200 articles and podcast episodes on goat care. Yes, there’s a lot to learn, and we’re still learning after all these years!

How reservations work

  • Please contact us before sending a deposit. Many future kids are already reserved.
  • We take reservations for two does and two bucks per breeding.
  • Not set on a specific breeding? A deposit puts you on our waiting list, and we’ll let you know when kids are available.

Kidding schedule

We hope to be updating the kidding schedule for spring 2027 soon. For the past three years, all of our kids have been reserved before I got the schedule updated, so there didn’t seem to be a point in updating it. If you’re wondering if we’re still breeding goats, the answer is yes.

Due dates are calculated at 145 days. Almost all of our goats give birth between 145 and 150 days, so the date listed is usually the earliest a doe is expected to kid.

Kidding Schedule

  • Does have been bred for kidding in late March and April 2026, and we have already started to accept reservations. The schedule will be updated soon! Someone mentioned that we had not updated the list in two years and assumed we had stopped breeding goats. On the contrary, I never got around to updating the list for the last two years because we have sold out before the kids were even born, so if you are interested in purchasing goats from us, please fill out the application.

Due dates are calculated at 145 days, and almost all of our goats give birth between 145 and 150 days, so the due date you see listed is usually the earliest a doe is expected to kid. Refresh the list to see the latest updates.
